MATT HUNT GARDNER

Dr. Matt Hunt Gardner (PhD 2017, University of Toronto) is a post-doctoral researcher at KU Leuven working on the relationship between linguistic variation and complexity. He is a trained variationist sociolinguist from the University of Toronto, where, as a Ph.D. student, he conducted fieldwork in rural Nova Scotia (Canada).

VIKTORIJA KOSTADINOVA

Dr. Viktorija Kostadinova (PhD 2018 from Leiden University) is a Lecturer at the University of Amsterdam where she teaches linguistics and sociolinguistics and researches language variation, language attitudes and language ideology.

ALEXANDER ROBERTSON

Alexander Robertson, MSc, (PhD expected 2021, University of Edinburgh) is a member of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Data Science in the School of Informatics at Edinburgh. His research focuses on variation, usage and change in language (specifically emoji) on social media.
